Welcome to the Riders Against Hunger

Riders Against Hunger is a motorcycle charity ride held in August each year in support of Eden Community Food Bank. ECFB provides food and other assistance to hungry families in western Mississauga.

Saturday, August 17th, 2013
Registration starts at 8:30am. Ride starts at 9:30.

Registration

Minimum registration fee is $35 to be paid on the day of the ride.

Riders and passengers who wish to participate have two registration options:

Registration is FREE with $35 or more in donations (per participant).

  1. Please Register Online to let us know you are coming, reserve your gift bag (for the first 100 participants), custom order your ride shirt (free with the $50 registration) and start collecting donations.
  2. Download a Donation form and collect donations. Tax receipts will be issued for each individual donation over $20. A draw ticket for the Grand Draw Prize will be given for every $50 collected. Prizes awarded to the top three fundraisers.
  3. On ride day, bring your completed donation form(s) along with your accumulated donations. Donations will be accepted by Cash, Cheque or Credit Card
  4. Online Donations. If you would like to provide a method for your friends to support you via an online donation, consider setting up your own online "Giving Page" at Canada Helps.
    • Select the option to "Create a Giving Page"
    • As a new user, select the option to Register with Canada Helps
    • You will then be able to create your Giving Page simply by answering the questions
    • When you are asked for the Charity, type in "Eden Community Food Bank". We are registered already and you will see our charitable registration number.
    • Donors will automatically receive a charitable donations tax receipt from Canada Helps

If you are in the Belleville area or would like to make the trip over there, the Gleaner’s Food Bank does a motorcycle charity ride called Ride for Hunger that supports hungry families in the Quinte area.
